Dr. Melven graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum, India in 1998. Since 2010, he has been a member of the Royal College of Physician (Ireland).
In 2017, he pursued his fellowship training in Gastroenterology at the Ministry of Health in Malaysia. Before joining Avisena Specialist Hospital in 2019, he served as a Consultant Physician, Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist at Kelana Jaya Medical Centre.
