Dr. Mohd Firdaus Bin Hadi graduated from the University of Malaya and obtained his Master of Internal Medicine UKM in his early career. He underwent clinical cardiology training at the University of Malaya with a high-volume cardiology workload in Malaysia, which equipped him with extensive experience in the cardiology field. He then pursued his sub-specialisation in interventional cardiology.
He is capable of performing complex coronary angioplasty e.g chronic total occlusion (CTO), bifurcation, rotational and orbital atherectomy, and left main angioplasty and as well as interventional cardiology modalities such as fractional flow reserve (FFR), and intravascular ultrasound (IVUS). Other than that, he is accredited with SCCT Level 2 for Computerised Tomography (CT) Coronary Angiogram.
Other than clinical work, he is an active member of the cardiology community in Malaysia. Academically, he has published numerous articles in a cardiology journal and has been involved in many research studies in cardiology.
