Session with Avisena Specialist Hospital’s Dietitian:

A timely session with a dietitian enables immediate dietary changes to be made to prevent complications resulting from an illness or disease.

First session

This session will be the longest. You’ll be assessed on your food habits, exercise levels and lifestyle. Responses should be as clear and accurate as possible, so that we can create the most suitable nutrition plan for you. You’re welcome to bring a family member along for support.

Follow-up session

It’s hard to radically change years of ingrained food habits. This is why, after the first consultation, our dietitians may set a date for the next appointment to review accomplishments and explain reasons behind them.
