Specialist Background

Dr Reynu Rajan is a well-recognised Consultant Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeon. Having completed postgraduate training in General Surgery and further subspecialty in Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery at University Kebangsaan Malaysia, Dr Reynu also received her Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopy and Bariatric Surgery from India as well as a Fellowship in Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery from Taiwan.

Dr Reynu has received numerous accolades for her active contribution to scientific research involving international collaborations and scholarly publications. A frequently invited speaker and faculty at surgical conferences, Dr Reynu is also the first Malaysian Surgeon to perform Single Incision Bariatric Surgery, a proponent of minimally invasive surgery and therapeutic endoscopy.
