Dr. Ateeq graduated from University College Dublin in 2010 with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of Obstetrics. He has been a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (MRCP, Ireland) since 2014. In 2021, he became a Member of the European Specialist Examination in Gastroenterology and Hepatology (ESEGH) under the Royal College of Physicians, UK. Further enhancing his expertise, he also completed his Gastroenterology and Hepatology training with the Malaysian Gastroenterology and Hepatology Society in 2021.
Prior to joining Avisena Specialist Hospital, Dr. Ateeq served as a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist at KPJ Healthcare and Specialist Centre, Kinrara, as well as at KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital.
