Hope in Every Mile!

Avisena Specialist Hospital was thrilled to host the Run for Pink event, uniting 1,000 passionate participants from Shah Alam and the Klang Valley in the fight against breast cancer. With the theme “Hope in Every Mile,” this meaningful run championed not only breast cancer awareness but also a commitment to a healthier lifestyle, while igniting important conversations on the value of early detection and timely care.

During the event, our esteemed CEO, Dr. Razman Abd Karim, delivered an inspiring address: “Breast cancer awareness and early detection are vital to saving lives. We are proud to announce that a portion of the registration fees will support the Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA). Their presence today, offering free breast self-examinations, makes a direct impact on our community’s well-being.”

A standout feature this year was the vibrant Pink Village, a hub of engaging activities. Attendees participated in a special yoga session tailored for cancer patients, promoting physical and mental well-being. Our own Breast and Endocrine Surgeon, Dr. Sarinah Basro, captivated audiences with a powerful talk on breast health and advancements in care. We were honored to welcome Puan Elina Nadia Omar, Group CEO of Avisena Healthcare, who joined the dedicated Avisena team to support and learn alongside the community.
