Specialist Background

Dr. Roslin Azni attained her Medical Doctorate (MD) from Science University of Malaysia in 1998. Subsequently, she pursued advanced studies in Ophthalmology, achieving her Master of Surgery in Ophthalmology from the National University of Malaysia in 2006. Her specialized training encompassed Medical Retina & Uveitis at Hospital Selayang and Moorfields Eye Hospital, London, along with Adult Ocular Oncology training at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London, United Kingdom, in 2011.

Presently, she serves as a Senior Consultant within the Medical Retina & Uveitis Unit at Hospital Shah Alam , a distinguished tertiary referral centre for such cases in Malaysia. Simultaneously, she engages in the oversight of general ophthalmic cases.

Her proficiencies span a range of procedures, including:

Employing retinal angiography, laser treatment, and intravitreal injections to manage retinal conditions.
Conducting cataract surgeries, incorporating premium intraocular lens implantation such as Multifocal and Toric lenses.

Administering laser therapy for glaucoma ailments.
Performing pterygium and conjunctival mass excisions.
Undertaking incisions and curettage for lid lesions, as well as addressing traumatic sclera and corneal lacerations.
